Job summary

OKX is seeking a Workplace IT Specialist in New York to own local IT and facilities. You’ll deliver on-site support for hardware, software, and conference room systems, ensuring high-quality user experiences across the Americas.

The role emphasizes onboarding/offboarding, asset management, and security alignment while collaborating with a global IT team. You will support macOS and enterprise apps (Google Workspace, Lark Suite), leverage AI tools for better documentation, and maintain SLA

Qualifications

2+ years in IT Support, Desktop Support, IT Operations, or similar enterprise environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT/related field.
Strong experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment.
Experience supporting Google Workspace and Lark Suite, with SSO, endpoint security, password management, and drive encryption.
Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, OS, networking, and endpoint tech.
Fluent, professional English communication with all levels of staff.
Ability to work independently as sole on-site IT presence in New York and elevate when needed.
Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and documentation.

Responsibilities

Deliver responsive technical support for hardware, software, OS, and workplace tech for NY office and Americas users.
Provide first-line support for collaboration and business applications to resolve day-to-day questions.
Manage local endpoint lifecycle: provisioning, deployment, maintenance, and secure retirement.
Onboard/offboard staff: device prep, account provisioning, access requests, training on IT systems.
Serve as the primary contact for conference rooms, VOIP, printers, CCTV, access control, and office infra.
Troubleshoot first-line endpoint, networking, Wi‑Fi, VPN, identity, and access issues; escalate when needed.
Support Global IT initiatives, office moves, tech refreshes, and security projects affecting the Americas.
Create knowledge base articles and SOPs using AI to reduce repetition.
Own end-user support experience and SLA adherence; identify recurring issues and improve service.
