Job summary

Antares Capital LP, based in New York, seeks an Associate, Valuations to join its Private Credit team. The role focuses on developing financial models and conducting valuations across debt and equity investments, delivering insights to support investment decisions.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Capital Markets, Credit, Deal Originations, Marketing, and Asset Management, and contribute to new valuation models and data repositories in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with valuation techniques: DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions.
• Strong data analysis, conclusions, and solution recommendations.
• Experience building financial models from scratch.
• Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
• CFA or CPA preferred.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; willingness to work from the New York office and travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and perform valuations across debt and equity investments.
• Synthesize data to support, challenge, and reconcile conclusions, including back testing and stress testing.
• Identify, evaluate, and present trends and performance drivers relevant to our business.
• Coordinate materials for the Antares Valuation Committee.
• Direct 3rd party valuation firm processes including information sharing and data collection.
• Propose valuation best practices to internal and external valuation reviews.
• Support the development and implementation of new valuation models and data repositories.
• Collaborate across functions including Capital Markets, Credit, Deal Originations, Marketing, and Asset Management teams.
