HungryPanda is seeking a Local Marketing Manager for the New York area to own local brand awareness, offline user growth, and merchant partnerships across the Greater NYC. You will blend entrepreneurial marketing with data-driven growth and build connections with local Asian communities, universities, and merchants.

Responsibilities cover market insights, field campaigns, partnerships, local media and influencer relations, and ROI optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 2–4+ years of progressive local/field marketing experience; 1+ year leading projects or managing teams.
• Experience in on-demand delivery, online food platforms, or local lifestyle tech is preferred.
• Deep understanding of Greater New York Area’s Chinese and Asian communities; strong network is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Local Market Insights & Strategy: conduct market research and benchmark NYC trends to guide growth.
• Field Marketing & Experiential Campaigns: plan and execute high-impact offline activations and events.
• Strategic Partnerships & Community Co-Marketing: develop partnerships with local businesses and student groups.
• Local Media, PR & Influencer Relations: build relationships with Chinese-language media and local creators.
• Data Analysis & ROI Optimization: measure CAC, conversion, retention, and ROI to drive efficiency.
