NBCUniversal in New York is seeking a Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs to support software and technology licensing, professional services, confidentiality, and related commercial transactions. The role is based at 30 Rockefeller Plaza with a hybrid model requiring four days in the office.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. from an accredited law school, admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for in-house status) and at least four years of experience at a law firm or in-house.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and NY State Bar admission (or eligibility for in-house status).
• Minimum 4 years of experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and negotiate corporate transaction agreements.
• Advise on contract rights and duties and contract interpretation.
• Support pre-litigation dispute resolution.
• Coordinate privacy, confidentiality and data-security work.
• Provide timely legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
