Job summary

NBCUniversal seeks Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs in New York to provide legal support across software licensing, professional services, confidentiality, and related commercial transactions. You will advise on contract terms, risk allocation, and help advance business objectives as a practical partner to internal teams.

The role requires a JD, NY Bar admission, 4+ years of experience, and hybrid office presence in NY.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel in New York.
• 4+ years of experience at law firm or comparable in-house position.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and support corporate transaction agreements, including M&A.
• Provide legal support for NBCUniversal's Sourcing and Operations & Technology groups.
• Advise clients regarding contractual rights and duties, interpretations, and pre-litigation dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance teams to ensure data handling complies with requirements.
