Laminar is a San Francisco-based AI hardware/software company redefining industrial automation. We design sensors and edge hardware to bring real-time understanding to factories and scale autonomous production.

As Head of New Ventures you will work directly with the founders to identify opportunities, build business cases, and launch initiatives—from concept to launch—recruiting initial teams and leading cross-functional delivery.

Qualifications

A track record of launching a business, function, product, or program.
Strong financial fluency and ability to build and explain business cases.
Ability to recruit, lead, and align cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Prioritize new ventures across industries, geographies, partnerships, and offerings.
Build business cases, define milestones, and allocate resources.
Launch initiatives from concept to launch with cross-functional teams.
Recruit initial teams and collaborate with engineering and commercial leaders to deliver results.
Contribute to planning and fundraising through financial analysis and evidence from new initiatives.
Scale, revise, or terminate initiatives based on results and ownership transfer when needed.
