Job summary

Honda of Leander is seeking a motivated New and Used Car Salesperson to drive vehicle sales and deliver outstanding customer service. You will greet customers, demonstrate vehicles, arrange test drives, prepare sales orders, and guide buyers through financing and paperwork.

This role requires excellent communication, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to meeting monthly goals while upholding dealership policies and ethics.

Qualifications

• Able to establish personal sales goals and implement a plan of action to achieve goals
• Ability to understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales
• Computer proficiency
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership and organization
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Responsibilities

• Approaches, greets, and offers assistance to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
• Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies
• Demonstrates vehicles, offer test drives to all prospects and follows test drive route
• Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival
• Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that each customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
• Maintains a prospect development system
