Job summary

DIFF Eyewear is opening a new store in Charleston, SC and seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead the launch and daily operations. You will coach a sales team, drive sales, deliver top-tier customer service, and uphold brand standards from day one.

You will manage inventory, merchandising, and local marketing initiatives while partnering with HQ to ensure a premium shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a retail team and driving sales performance.
• Strong coaching and development skills for staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a store opening.
• Hands-on experience with POS/retail systems and cash handling.
• Commitment to delivering elevated customer experiences and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead store opening activities including setup, onboarding, and merchandising.
• Coach and develop sales associates to achieve KPIs and provide exceptional service.
• Oversee inventory, POS transactions, and cash handling to protect profitability.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and stock levels per HQ directions.
• Collaborate with HQ and Store Manager on marketing and community engagement.
