Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking an Engineering Supervisor – New Product Development in the Binghamton, NY area. This hands-on leadership role focuses on guiding a multidisciplinary team through concept, prototyping, testing, and product launch.

You will lead design, development, and test engineers; oversee resources across programs; collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Applications to ensure smooth transitions to manufacturing; and drive improvements in prototyping and development processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of product development engineering with hands-on prototyping.
• Leadership or technical mentorship experience.
• Experience with CAD/PLM systems such as Creo and Windchill preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of Design, Development, and Test Engineers.
• Lead new product development from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance in design, prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
• Manage priorities and engineering resources across multiple development programs.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to support product development and manufacturing transition.
• Drive improvements to prototyping and product development processes.
