Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for New Product Development in the Binghamton, NY area. This hands-on leadership role focuses on guiding a multidisciplinary team through concept, prototyping, validation, and production release.

You will provide technical guidance, help manage multiple development programs, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to ensure smooth manufacturing transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in product development engineering with hands-on prototyping.
• Leadership or technical mentorship experience.
• Experience with CAD/PDM systems like Creo and Windchill preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of Design, Development, and Test Engineers.
• Lead new product development from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance in design, prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
• Manage priorities and resources across multiple development programs.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to support product development and manufacturing transition.
• Drive improvements to prototyping and product development processes.
