Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Supervisor - New Product Development in the Binghamton, NY area. This hands-on leadership role will drive new product design, prototyping, testing, and launches while guiding a multidisciplinary design, development, and test team.

You will oversee concept-to-production, provide technical mentorship, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to transition products to manufacturing.

Qualifications

3+ years of product development engineering experience with hands-on prototyping.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Leadership or technical mentorship experience; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of Design, Development, and Test Engineers.
Lead new product development from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release.
Provide hands-on technical guidance in design, prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
Manage priorities and engineering resources across multiple development programs.
Partner with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to support product development and manufacturing transition.
Drive improvements to prototyping and product development processes.
