University Cancer & Blood Center is seeking a patient appointment coordinator to handle incoming calls from physician offices, ensuring timely scheduling and accurate chart prep. You will work to get patients in within three days, retrieve provider requests, and manage faxed records efficiently.
The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of healthcare experience, works well solo or in a team, and maintains a positive attitude.

Taking incoming calls from other physician offices to make new patient appointments, while exercising the excellence in customer service skills. All patients should be worked in within a three-day range. Retrieving requests by provider to insure a complete chart before patient's appointment. Scanning records into new patient charts after being reviewed by provider or prior depending on the physician Clearing of the new patient fax and distributing faxes accordingly.
