Job summary

RecorGroup is seeking a New Partnerships Coordinator to support our Kroger division in lead generation and pipeline management. You will conduct market research, qualify prospects, and maintain CRM data to drive targeted outreach.

  • Support prospect meetings with research, strategy, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with other market coordinators on multi-customer opportunities.

Position Overview

The New Partnerships Coordinator - Kroger is responsible for supporting the Kroger division in Lead Generation and overall Pipeline Management.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential leads for our Kroger division, including inbound prospects, and qualify against ideal customer profile
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM system, regularly updating lead information, maintaining accurate contact information, track engagement, and ensure overall data integrity.
  • Design, execute, and monitor outbound lead generation campaigns (cold calling, email marketing, etc). Collaborate with customer teams to align messaging and target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as conversion rates, response rates, website traffic, and engagement. Prepare regular reports to deliver insights on the effectiveness of lead generation efforts and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with the department head and customer VP to generate market-specific leads and develop tailored proposals that meet the unique needs and objectives of each prospect.
  • Facilitate and support prospect meetings, including research, presentation building, strategy development, and necessary follow-ups to generate positive outcomes for RecorGroup.
  • Work collaboratively with other market New Partnership Coordinators on multi-customer partnership opportunities
Qualifications

Education & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in CPG sales, account management, or business development
  • Direct experience working with Kroger
  • Strong understanding of the CPG/grocery industry landscape
  • Based in Cincinnati area required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot) and reporting/dashboard tools, with strong attention to data accuracy and record integrity
  • Market research skills, including the ability to identify and qualify leads against an ideal customer profile
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data (conversion rates, response rates, engagement) and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Strong written communication skills — clear, concise, and audience-appropriate, whether writing to peers, vendors, supervisors, or customers
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills, including cold calling, cold emailing, and one-on-one or small-group presentations
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship-building and conflict resolution, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships across peers, management, suppliers, and other departments
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with prospects, department heads, and executives, and to communicate confidently at executive levels
  • Ability to tailor messaging and proposals to different prospect types, needs, and objectives
  • Ability to work independently, self-manage, and take initiative on lead generation strategy
  • Time management and prioritization across multiple initiatives, campaigns, and markets

Physical Demands & Environment

This position works in an office environment, indoors subject to fluctuations in temperature (indoor climate control) with moderate noise level and lighting.This position has the following physical demands and incumbents must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Sufficient mobility to move around the office
  • Ability to use hands for grasping files, papers, notebooks, writing implements, etc.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read documents on paper and on the computer
  • Sitting at a desk for up to 8 hours at a time

Travel Requirements

We anticipate this role will require 10-15 nights of travel per year to meet customer needs, be present at industry events, and meet with existing clients.
