Job summary

Honda is seeking qualified individuals to provide cost management support for minor and full model development, including BOM maturation and cross-functional communication to drive cost efficiency.

You will analyze data, prepare cost presentations, and report findings to top management, while collaborating with HDMA and other groups to explain changes and improve part structures. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree (Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing) preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• 0-4 years of relevant experience based on education
• 0-2 years accounting/finance (cost management) experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and support minor model and/or full model project management.
• Resolve problems/issues with new model development.
• Communicates effectively with other groups to establish/report accurate new model costs.
• Prepare and analyse data to support New Model cost presentations that explains cost/investment to management.
• Analyse results and investigate cost change reasons.
• Confirmation of cost change reasons by part for summarization and reporting.
• Review and cost-based part structures for New Models.
• Understands group business plan goals and how role/responsibility achieves those goals.
