• NIHSS (Bluecloud) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Coordinate involvement of patient, family, and health team members in patient care.
• Communicate and coordinate the plan of care with health team members.
• Assist Leadership to define standards of excellence for patient care and participate in improvement efforts.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality improvement activities.
• Participate in daily operational activities for safe patient/staff environment.
• Provide input to the Nurse Manager regarding unit needs.
• Participate in committees for nursing and hospital policies.
