Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore is seeking Registered Nurses for the Solid Tumor Oncology Unit. You will care for adult oncology patients in a 36-bed unit and participate in innovative therapies such as CAR T-cell and BiTE treatments.

New graduates enter our Nurse Residency Program, with accelerated clinical ladders, tuition assistance, and career pathways to support your growth. Shift options include Day/Night with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program required.
  • BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year of hire and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required.
  • BLS CPR certification required.
  • No RN work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to adult oncology patients.
  • Participate in training and orientation for new grads.
  • Support innovative therapies including CAR T-cell therapy, BiTE therapy, and TIL therapies.
  • Enroll in yearlong Nurse Residency Program.

The Solid Tumor Oncology Unit

is a 36-bed inpatient unit that provides medical care to adult oncology patients. Registered Nurses (RNs) provide specialized care to patients with solid tumor diagnosis. We offer comprehensive training and orientation to help new grads learn oncology nursing. Nurses will have the opportunity to provide patients with innovative therapies that are shaping the future of oncology. Important Notices:

***Nurses hired with an Associate’s degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of your start date.

Salary Range: Minimum 36.07/hour - Maximum 54.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
