Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of the nursing process and develops the patient plan of care under RN supervision.
• Collects patient data (e.g., vital signs) and reports changes to the RN.
• Participates in planning and prioritizing patient needs with the RN and interdisciplinary team.
• Assists in implementing the patient plan of care, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs under supervision.
• Participates in patient/family education and documents care under RN guidance.
