Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its 4 Main Neuroscience Unit, a Magnet-designated setting renowned for compassionate care and advanced neurological services. The role features a one-year Nurse Residency with nine tracks, plus strong support, ongoing training, and opportunities for relocation assistance.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS, and the ability to work 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. with every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
New grad or less than one year RN work experience or transitioning to acute inpatient care with less than one year of acute RN experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, patient preference, and resource availability.
Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective action.
Seek supervision or assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
Document in patients' medical records.
