Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC offers an RN Residency Program to support nurses transitioning to clinical practice across Medical-Surgical and specialty units. The program includes hands-on patient care, classroom learning, and mentorship with a preceptor to help new and experienced nurses develop essential skills.

• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing hands-on patient care in Medical-Surgical and specialty units such as Neurology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Telemetry, and Oncology.
• Participating in classroom learning, skill development, and mentorship with preceptor support.
• Assessing, prioritizing, and managing diverse patient conditions to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• New graduates encouraged to apply; hospital experience preferred for some units.

Skills and physical requirements include:

• Strong clinical foundation, critical thinking, and assessment skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and assist patients safely.
