Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking applicants for its RN Residency Program beginning November 2026. This 12-month transition-to-practice program combines precepted orientation, mentorship, and blended learning to prepare new graduate nurses for quality care and patient safety.

Residents will rotate through Acute Care services including Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology and General Medical; you’ll develop clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork through

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program
• New Graduates eligible
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
• BLS CPR certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
