Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is pleased to offer an RN Residency Program beginning November 2026. This 12-month transition-to-practice program supports new graduates with education, mentorship, and peer support to develop essential clinical judgment and safe practice.

Residents will gain exposure to Acute Care areas including Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology and General Medical, under dedicated preceptors and a blended learning approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS CPR certification.
• BSN preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse provides nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities to ensure quality care and safety.
• Maintain standards of practice and contribute to professional growth and accountability.
