Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is launching an RN Residency Program starting November 2026. This 12-month transition-to-practice program provides education, mentorship and peer support to new graduate nurses as they develop clinical judgment and communication skills for quality patient care.

Opportunities exist within Acute Care specialties such as Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology and General Medical, with a strong emphasis on safety and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS CPR certification.
• BSN preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff with adherence to standards of practice.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within organizational policies.
