Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic in Baltimore seeks a new grad RN to support adult and pediatric facial surgery and neurocranial patients in the outpatient setting. You will assist with in-clinic visits, wounds, drains, sutures, chart reviews, and pending orders.

This role emphasizes critical thinking, triage of patient calls and MyChart messages, and collaboration with an innovative team.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred; must matriculate into BSN program per nursing guidelines.
• RN license required at time of hire.
• Active CPR required at time of hire.
• New graduate nurse who wants to work in an outpatient clinic as a part of an innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and providers with in-clinic visits, addressing wounds, drains, sutures, chart reviews, and pending orders.
• Address patient calls and MyChart messages, using critical thinking to triage needs.
