Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time registered nurse for the 34404 Atrium Health Pineville Nursing Med Surg IU 4 Pine unit on the night shift. The position offers 36 hours per week across three night shifts with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, monitoring patient conditions, documenting in the EHR, and potentially floating to other units. Requires RN license and BLS; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification required; additional certification may be needed by specialty.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans with the team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Upholds ANA Code of Ethics and maintains safety culture.
