Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with a pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour. A BSN is preferred, and incumbents must hold an active RN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the applicable state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certifications.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area.
