Job summary

Intermountain Health in Provo, Utah, is seeking a Nursing Graduate to work under direct RN supervision within the Nurse Residency program. This role supports patient care delivery, participates in medication administration under supervision, and aims to obtain RN licensure after completing the residency.

Night shifts are available with potential full-time hours upon progression. New grads must be enrolled in the Intermountain Nurse Residency and have started coursework toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a recognized and accredited Nursing (RN) education program. Education will be verified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Must be enrolled in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program before providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of nursing process and plans of care under direct supervision of an RN.
• Collects patient data (e.g., vital signs) under direct supervision and reports changes.
• Assists with prioritization of patient needs and implementation of the care plan under RN supervision.
• Participates in patient education and family communication with RN oversight.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to regulatory standards.
