Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of an RN, participate in the nursing process and care planning.
• Collect patient data and document accurately under RN supervision.
• Observe prioritization of patient needs and assist in plan of care under RN guidance.
• Assist in implementing patient plans with attention to age, cultural, and emotional needs under supervision.
• Report patient responses to treatments and collaborate with RN to adjust nursing interventions.
• Support patient/family education as directed by the RN and assessments.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and protect patient confidentiality.
• Progress through the Nursing Residency program toward RN licensure.
