• Successful completion of an RN education program. Education will be verified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of the nursing process under direct supervision of an RN.
• Collects patient data (e.g., vital signs) under the direct supervision of the RN and reports significant changes.
• Observes prioritization of patient needs and development of the interdisciplinary plan of care under supervision.
• Observes implementation of the plan of care considering patient needs under supervision.
• Reports patient responses to treatments and collaborates with the RN on changes to nursing interventions.
• Participates in patient/family education under RN supervision.
• Maintains accountability and confidentiality in care delivery under RN supervision.
• Aims to achieve RN licensure in a timely manner through the Nursing Residency program.
