Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) New Grad for Nephrology Oncology (NEON). This full-time day shift role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible and a schedule of three 12-hour shifts.

You will contribute by performing patient assessments, initiating nursing interventions, and maintaining complete medical records. Applicants should hold a valid RN license, with BLS required within 30 days and ACLS/PALS within six months.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
• New graduate RN with nephrology/oncology interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
