Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) New Grad to join the Nephrology Oncology team on days. This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible and a 3x12 hour shift pattern.

You will perform patient assessments, identify needs, document care, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan while upholding quality and safety standards. Applicants must hold a current RN license, obtain BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS within six months.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• BLS certification due within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
