Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Authorized by the Alabama Board of Nursing to practice as a graduate nurse and has NCLEX eligibility.
- Meets mandatory competency requirements for unit/department.
- Maintains BLS certification and any area-specific requirements.
Responsibilities
- Administers bedside patient care under supervision.
- Develops and revises plans of care.
- Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
- Documents care accurately and timely in patient records.
- Demonstrates growth and development knowledge relevant to patients.
- Acts as a preceptor/educator as needed.
- Ensures patient safety and quality standards.
