Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse Level I for inpatient care. You will apply the nursing process, perform assessments, and deliver patient-focused care with supervision as needed.

Requires current RN license, BLS within 30 days, and less than 12 months of RN experience. BSN preferred. This non-exempt role offers 36 hours weekly in a hospital setting with emphasis on safety and evidence-based nursing.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or multi-state license through eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation and handoff tools/processes.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Recognizes patient safety concerns and responds with appropriate resources.
• Provides education based on the patient’s learning needs.
• Documents problems and issues in the plan of care.
