Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation and handoff tools/processes.
• Creates and implements care plans using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Recognizes patient safety concerns and escalates appropriately.
• Provides patient education tailored to individual learning needs.
• Incorporates patient individuality and mutuality data in care delivery.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documentation; uses teach-back to evaluate education effectiveness.
