Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a graduate from an accredited nursing program to join our hemodialysis team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse while gaining hands-on dialysis experience and will be expected to obtain your nursing license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities include vascular access evaluation, patient vital signs, dialysis initiation and monitoring, and proper documentation in the patient health record.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Must obtain nursing license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular access evaluation pre-treatment.
• Performs and records Pre and Post dialysis evaluation, weight and vital signs.
• Initiates dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including QB and QD.
• Documents information related to patient treatment in the health record.
• Obtains prescribed lab specimens and prepares them for collection.
