Job summary

Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide individualized nursing care across all phases of care. The role collaborates with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care in alignment with the Nurse Practice Act.

Day shift, full-time position with 36 hours per week and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. RN earns $39+ per hour and LPN about $28.75+ per hour, with a benefits package including

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process across all phases of care.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
