Job summary

AtlantiCare is recruiting a New Graduate Registered Nurse to strengthen nursing skills under direct supervision of a preceptor, facilitating a seamless transition from student to professional health team member.

The role includes direct and indirect patient care, collaboration with the care team, and participation in a one-year Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program with mentorship, seminars, and outcomes focused on leadership and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with the care team; ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a preceptor.
• Contribute to quality patient care and performance improvement efforts.
• Participate in the Vizient/AACN New to Practice Nurse Residency Program to support transition to independent practice.
