AtlantiCare is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse to strengthen knowledge and skills under the direct supervision of a nurse preceptor, performing direct and indirect patient care as they transition from student to health care team member. The role supports quality care, teamwork and performance improvement.

The New Graduate Nurse Residency Program lasts one year, with monthly seminars and formal mentorship to ease the transition to independent practice.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required upon hire or transfer. AHA ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members; ability to be flexible, set priorities, solve problems and use proper judgment in difficult situations. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
