Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Nursing Graduate to work under direct RN supervision in a clinical setting. The role supports patient care delivery, participates in medication administration under licensed RN supervision, and progresses toward RN licensure through the Nurse Residency program in Utah Valley Hospital.

New grads must enroll in the Nurse Residency program and complete orientation and training requirements, including progression through the residency and boards preparation.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an RN education program.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, understand and apply the nursing process to develop and revise the patient plan of care.
• Collect patient data and vitals under RN supervision and document accurately.
• Assist in prioritizing patient needs during shifts under RN guidance.
• Support implementation of the patient plan with consideration of patient needs.
• Communicate patient responses to treatments and collaborate with RN on adjustments.
• Support patient/family education under RN supervision based on assessments and learning readiness.
• Act with accountability in patient care delivery under RN supervision and consult with RN on quality and safety.
• Work toward RN licensure in alignment with Intermountain Health standards and Nursing Residency progression.
