Job summary

Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Nursing Graduate who will work under direct RN supervision in the clinical setting and participate in patient care delivery, orientation to RN assignments, and accurate documentation. This role is part of the Intermountain Nurse Residency program for up to 12 weeks, advancing toward RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited RN education program and be eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers.
• New graduate with RN exam in progress or recently licensed.

Responsibilities

• Under direct RN supervision, participate in the nursing process and care planning.
• Collect patient data (vital signs) and report changes to the RN.
• Document accurately under RN supervision.
• Observe and discuss prioritization and adjustments of patient care with the RN.
• Assist in implementing the patient plan of care with consideration for patient needs.
• Report patient responses and collaborate on changes to nursing interventions.
• Participate in patient/family education under RN supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards.
