Job Description

Work Schedule: Night 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend

• Focus on clinical practice and care delivery, emphasizing ongoing learning.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and access appropriate resources.
• Follow unit protocols, documentation standards, and pathways.
• Engage patients and families in care, following care delivery models.
• Conduct needs assessments; initiate and document education; advocate for patient/family needs as appropriate.
• Deliver safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care consistent with unit operations.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligibility via Compact agreements through the MD Board of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
