Job summary

Community Memorial Health System seeks a radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams with emphasis on patient safety and high-quality images. You will be the first contact for patients regarding imaging needs and education, supporting the PI activities as needed.

The incumbent should hold CA CRT, ARRT credentials, and BLS certification, with an AS degree in Radiology or imminent graduation. This position offers benefits and requires on-site work in Ventura County.

Qualifications

• Must have an AS degree in Radiology or be scheduled to graduate.
• CRT certification in California or the ability to provide one on hire.
• Fluoroscopy certification in California or ability to provide one on hire.
• ARRT credentials or scheduled test date confirmation.
• BLS certification current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams with high quality and patient safety.
• Serve as first point of contact for patients' imaging needs and education.

Compensation

Salary Range: $41.95 - $57.78 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides diagnostic imaging exams of high quality while providing excellent patient care, education and patient safety. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI activities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate of Science Degree in Radiology or scheduled graduation date
• Current California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification (CRT) or ability to provide one upon hire
• Current California Fluoroscopy Certification or scheduled test date confirmation or ability to provide one upon hire
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist credentials or scheduled test date confirmation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
