Job summary

Symbotic is hiring a New Grad- Onsite Project Manager to support large-scale warehouse automation deployments at customer sites. You will coordinate schedules, track milestones, and work with engineering, supply chain, installation, and operations teams.

This is a travel-heavy, onsite role designed for early-career professionals in project management, operations, engineering, or industrial automation. You'll gain hands-on experience delivering complex deployments while learning from experienced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Internship, co-op, academic project, leadership, or relevant work experience demonstrating project coordination, problem-solving, or operational execution.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business tools.
• Exposure to project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Interest in building a career in project management, operations, construction, robotics, automation, or large-scale system deployment.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% and work on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of large-scale customer deployment projects.
• Partner with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate schedules, deliverables, and project milestones.
• Track project risks, issues, action items, and dependencies.
• Participate in internal and customer meetings, capturing key decisions and communicating follow-up actions.
• Assist in maintaining project schedules, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, supply chain, installation, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Support site readiness efforts, including logistics planning, resource coordination, and execution tracking.
• Analyze project data and metrics to support project planning and decision-making.
• Help drive accountability and communication across project stakeholders.
• Develop the skills and experience necessary to take ownership of increasingly complex project responsibilities.
