Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a New Grad- Onsite Project Manager to support large-scale warehouse automation deployments. You will work with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate schedules, track milestones, and manage project activities across engineering, supply chain, installation, and operations.

Ideal candidates will have a related bachelor's degree and internship or co-op experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to travel up to 75% to customer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Internship, co-op, academic project, leadership, or relevant work experience demonstrating project coordination, problem-solving, or operational execution.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business tools.
  • Exposure to project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Interest in building a career in project management, operations, construction, robotics, automation, or large-scale system deployment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% and work on customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of large-scale customer deployment projects.
  • Partner with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate schedules, deliverables, and project milestones.
  • Track project risks, issues, action items, and dependencies.
  • Participate in internal and customer meetings, capturing key decisions and communicating follow-up actions.
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, supply chain, installation, commissioning, and operations teams.
  • Support site readiness efforts, including logistics planning, resource coordination, and execution tracking.
  • Analyze project data and metrics to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Help drive accountability and communication across project stakeholders.
  • Develop the skills and experience necessary to take ownership of increasingly complex project responsibilities.

What We Need

The New Grad- Onsite Project Manager supports the successful delivery of large-scale warehouse automation and robotics deployments at customer sites. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and cross-functional teams, you will help coordinate project activities, track deliverables, manage priorities, and support execution throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in project management, operations, engineering, supply chain, or industrial automation. You'll gain hands-on experience working on complex customer deployments while developing the skills needed to lead large-scale projects. Remote, travel-based position with up to 75% travel. Candidates must be located within the Eastern or Central time zones.

Our Environment

Remote, field-based position. Travel required up to 75% of the time. Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to customer and company locations. Frequently required to walk, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May be required to work at heights and in restricted-access areas. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must comply with all customer and company safety requirements and protocol.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
