Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join our food and beverage focused design-build team. You will scope, layout, install, and commission packaging lines, working closely with process, controls, and building system engineers to deliver turnkey solutions.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts and estimates, creating packaging flow diagrams, specifying equipment, coordinating on-site construction, and supporting start-up and commissioning across projects with 50%+ travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, packaging, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
• 0-3 years of work experience or schooling in scope, layout, install, and commissioning of packaging equipment lines.
• Experience with professional services, packaging, and food & beverage firms is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, estimates and functional specifications for packaging lines.
• Interpret mechanical design requirements and customer specifications for packaging systems.
