Job summary

Dennis Group invites a Packaging Engineer to join our design-build team. You will scope, layout, install, and commission packaging lines for food and beverage clients, working with process and building-system engineers to deliver turnkey facilities.

Responsibilities cover design concepts, basis of design, equipment specs, and on-site coordination from installation to startup. Travel up to 50%–70% is expected as projects move across sites, and you will support vendor oversight and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical, packaging, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
• 4+ years of packaging engineering experience in relevant field.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ of the year for on-site work.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Scope, layout, install, and commission packaging equipment lines.
• Create basis of design, scope of work, and functional specs.
• Develop packaging flow diagrams and procurement documents.
• Coordinate on-site construction, supervision, and commissioning.
• Lead factory acceptance testing and client meetings.
