You will own subsystem hardware, drive prototyping, testing, and manufacturability decisions, and work toward scalable production with a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of mechanical engineering experience or similar (academic or professional).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or related field.
• Graduating with a bachelor’s degree by Dec 2026 or Jan 2027.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks).
• Experience with modeling languages (Python, MATLAB, C++) and analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Own the mechanical design from CAD concepts to prototypes and mass production.
• Integrate mechanical systems with sensors, actuators, and embedded control hardware.
• Lead hands-on testing and iterate designs based on performance feedback.
• Drive manufacturability, part selection, and tolerance stack-up for scalable production.
• Apply mechanical fundamentals to inform robust, lightweight designs.
• Contribute to test plans, technical documentation, and reviews.
• Perform analytical modeling and simulation to evaluate system performance.
• Support project milestones, including extended hours or weekends.
