IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Engineering New Grad in Ontario, CA. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship, training, and opportunities for growth from day one.

You will assist in analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for the vertical building industry, collaborating closely with project teams and clients while contributing to education-focused projects and public-institution work.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• EIT or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of design techniques and concepts for technical plans and specifications
• Strong technical and analytical skills in thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics
• Familiarity with HVAC load calculation software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving
• Basic knowledge of BIM software
• MS Office proficiency
• Willingness to travel up to 5%

Responsabilités

• Assist with the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems per code requirements and IMEG standards
• Support engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for the vertical building industry
• Interact with clients to understand their needs and communicate technical information effectively
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication
• Work as part of a project team to support consulting projects
• Assist in project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring progress
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks with senior engineers to develop practical solutions
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to meet industry and client requirements
• Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts
• Work within project budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals
• Prioritize safety in all engineering work and mitigate potential risks with multidisciplinary teams
