Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a NEW GRADUATE ENGINEER for Starlink GNC in Redmond. You will help write autopilot algorithms for thousands of satellites and user terminals, contributing to constellation design, orbit transfer automation, and network analysis.

The role focuses on high-assurance software development, state estimation, and control, with on-call responsibilities and frequent interface reviews. 2026/2027 graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field with graduation in 2026 or 2027.
• Experience with C++ or Python required.
• Strong fundamentals in orbital mechanics or related aerospace topics.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable GNC algorithms, simulations, tools, services, and dashboards in C++ or Python.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Analyze performance data from Starlink constellation and network.
• Document programs, algorithms, or analyses clearly.
• Support on-call operations to keep the network running at peak performance.
