Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks a New Graduate Engineer for its Starlink GNC team to write autopilot algorithms for thousands of satellites and millions of user terminals, enabling global high-speed internet. You will join Starlink GNC sub-teams covering constellation design, orbit transfer automation, attitude/orbit control, and state estimation, with production-grade software responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (CS, aerospace, physics or engineering).
• Software development experience in C++ or Python.
• Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable GNC algorithms, simulations, tools, services, and dashboards using C++ or Python.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Bulk data analysis of Starlink constellation performance.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Support on-call operations and satellite commands to maintain network performance.
