Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a NEW GRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to join the Starlink team in Redmond. You will own the full hardware lifecycle, from design through on-orbit operation, working across avionics, payload, and gateways groups to deliver high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.

The role offers exposure to high-speed digital, analog, RF, power electronics, and test automation, with a strong emphasis on full life-cycle hardware development and collaboration with mechanical,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of experience design/analysis of circuits, electronic products, or hardware (internships/co-ops and club projects can apply).
• Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.
• Master’s degree in electrical or similar engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, test, and on-orbit performance of complex electrical designs.
• Get hands-on and support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
• Work closely with engineers from adjacent disciplines to deliver tightly integrated, high-performance hardware.
• Challenge assumptions, question requirements, learn from mistakes, and approach problems with an open mind.
